Quick setup guide

Step 1: Prepare your Google Docs template

Create a Google Docs template with placeholders that match your spreadsheet column headers:

Step 2: Set up your spreadsheet

Make sure your Google Sheets has column headers that match your template placeholders:

Step 3: Install and configure

  1. Install the SwishDocs add-on from Google Workspace Marketplace
  2. Open the add-on from Extensions → SwishDocs → Generate PDFs
  3. Paste your SwishDocs API key (get it from your dashboard)
  4. Select your Google Docs template
  5. Map columns to template variables (usually automatic)
  6. Choose to generate per row or in bulk
